Education camp

I went to Yuen Long with 171 students and 5 teachers for their graduation camp. We added value to the camp so we called it education camp. Not bad as we enjoyed the games alot (except hiking as my students complained) We spent 3 days and 2 nights in the camp. Many funny incidents happened. I then found that I am really 'powerful'. I was the teacher/chef/nurse/inspector/instructor (whatever you can think of). I fully understand a word now.

Briefing

When they arrived in the afternoon, they entered the hall for briefing. Posted by Hello

Games

They played games in the hall. I guess it's noisier than in the disco. Imagine 171 students screamed at their top voice......

Dinner

Not bad isn't it? Well, not bad for them for the first 10 minutes...... Posted by Hello

Hard time

The wonderful dinner was for 10 minutes only.
Can you see the girl's face?
In order to stop students from picking the food they like, we ordered them to clear all the food. To fulfill our requirement, they used different ways to clear the table. They took turns to eat one thing on dish/ They spun a spoon to decide who ate the food/ The boys helped the girls to eat, etc. They finished them all at last. Amazing.
Don't call us cold-blooded. IF we didn't give instructions in advance, they would end up eating 10% of the dinner and stayed in the room and ate cup noodles. Trust me on this. Posted by Hello

Fashion show

We had a fashion show on the second day. They made use of used materials like newspaper, cloth, string and designed a set of clothes. Each group decided who would be the model. Great fun as they posed for the clothes. It did sound like a fashion show! Posted by Hello

Elephant man?

Newspaper with students after 30 minutes= an elephant man?
Bravo yet super funny! Posted by Hello

Water rocket

Students made a water rocket on the first night. The instuctor was...... simply useless. Those clueless students sat there without knowing what to do next. We teachers then helped and explained to them by ourselves.
They set the water rocket on the second day. Really nice experience as they 'Wah!' 'Wah!' 'Wah!' during the entire process! Posted by Hello

Barbeque

We went for barbeque on the second night. They had never tried bbq themselves so they found it very funny
for the first 10 minutes again......
Food policy was on again that night :P A very disasterous bbq for them, heehee Posted by Hello

Guilty dessert

Guilty dessert. Not because of the calories but......
A colleague of mine claimed that she would visit us in the camp (She lives nearby). She is famous for 'setting aeroplane' so we bet that she wouldn't come.
The truth was she didn't come, but she sent her sister (who is also my colleague) to send us the dessert. A bit embarassed as we seemed not so friendly. A teasing brought troubles to others.
The dessert was really delicious but we didn't have enough room for it after the bbq. Posted by Hello

Hiking

We went for hiking on the last day of the camp. The little hiking took 2 hours. We played water bomb battle the day before and the other groups went for hiking. My group had heard of the 'hard time' from their classmates so they were pretty reluctant to join it.
But of course, we monster teachers wouldn't allow it......
The road was pretty easy to walk actually. Posted by Hello

In the woods

Nice and refreshing hiking experience. Students suffered. Teacher(me) enjoyed it alot. Weight losing+ fresh air breathing+ mind tuning all in one, nice. Posted by Hello

Reluctant smiles......

After walking continuously for 90 minutes, they were all exhausted. They squeezed the smile in order to let me take this picture. They all sweated like hell. One of the students told me she had slept for more than 17 hours after the camp. A record I will say. Posted by Hello

Road ahead

A nice little pace. Posted by Hello

Destructive

Nice isn't it? 8 boys stayed in the same room. 3 days later, the bed was broken, socks and underwear were everywhere, the room stink. No wonder we always said 'stinky men'...... Posted by Hello

Sports day

My school held its sports day on 1st April. It's a special year for me because it will be my last year of participating the sports day. I also participated in the student-teacher rely! Though I didn't win any medals, I enjoyed a great time. My student even took a video clip for me. Not that I ran slowly, it's just that they ran too fast! :P Posted by Hello

Sadine

While they were waiting for the medal giving ceremony, my students felt so so so boring yet they were not allowed to 'take a walk'. They thought of 'alternative entertainment'.
They squeezed themselves together! There're 15 students there!
Such a group of crazy/creative/silly/cute students! Just love them. Posted by Hello
